Savouring the Lasts- Patagonia Day 5

The fifth day of my amazing trip to Patagonia. By then, I felt like I actually knew everyone. But all that socialising is rather taxing for me, so I was ready to go "home". And by home I mean Temuco. Don't get me wrong, I love them/you all. It's just nice to relax. And I don't feel bad about not being able to be a constant ball of energy 24/7.
We went to a museum where they make life size models of famous ships. It was cool.

this door is the size it would have been on the real ship.
Is it possible that I would be even taller?

Rule #1 of an exchange student: act ridiculous around other exchange students so that you can be an angel/ambassador the rest of the time. ;-)

here you can observe some real live exchange students in their natural habitat following rule #1.

also here. <3

legend says that if you kiss the toe of this statue, you will return to Patagonia at some point in your life.
needless to say, I kissed the toe.

Iceskating!!

#girlpower. this isn't all of us though. not even close.

so cute!!

we had a Christmas party with Rotary at the end of the day. We got beach towels (a practical Chilean christmas present), and santa hats. It was really cool because we talked about the Christmas traditions of our own cultures. Christmas songs, when we open presents, what we do on Christmas day, etc. I loved it.
